Footprint Early Childhood and Primary Education is thrilled to announce its upcoming anniversary celebration, a week-long event scheduled from November 25th to November 30th, 2024.

Under the inspiring theme “Sustaining Our Heritage, Transforming Our World,” the school community will come together to honor its rich legacy and embrace the future with a series of exciting and meaningful activities.

Monday, November 25th: Anniversary Launch, Float, and Health Walk

The celebration will kick off with a grand launch event, featuring a float and a health walk. This opening day sets the tone for the week, emphasizing the importance of health, wellness, and community spirit.

Tuesday, November 26th: Fun Day

Fun Day promises an array of enjoyable activities for students and staff alike. The day will be filled with:

  • Indoor games
  • Challenge competitions
  • Slime and clay dough activities
  • Face painting
  • Art fest
  • Picnic

It’s a day dedicated to creativity, play, and bonding.

Weds., November 27th: Clean-Up Exercise, Language Day & Medical Donation

Midweek, the school will engage in a clean-up exercise, reinforcing the values of environmental stewardship and community service. Later in the day, Language Day will celebrate linguistic diversity with activities in French and Twi, highlighting the importance of multicultural education.

There will also be a Medical Donation planned on Wednesday alongside the Cleanup Exercise at the Taifa Polyclinic. The school plans to donate a C-PAP machine (a medical device that treats breathing emergencies) to the infant unit of the hospital.

Thursday, November 28th: Medical Screening

Health and wellness take center stage again on Thursday with a comprehensive medical screening. This initiative underscores the school’s commitment to the well-being of its students and staff.

Friday, November 29th: Thanksgiving & Anniversary Day.

The penultimate day of the celebration will be filled with music and gratitude. A special thanksgiving ceremony will be held, allowing the school community to reflect on its journey and achievements. The day will be marked by musical performances and expressions of thankfulness.

The grand finale of the week-long celebration will be the Anniversary Day Celebration. This day will feature:

  • Exhibitions showcasing the talents and achievements of students and staff
  • An awards ceremony to recognize outstanding contributions

Saturday, November 30th: Awards Dinner

The celebrations will culminate in a splendid dinner, bringing together the entire school community to celebrate and look forward to a bright future.
