AU Youth Envoy Mental Health Youth Champions Program: The Office of the African Union (AU) Youth Envoy is excited to invite passionate young African leaders to become Mental Health Youth Champions as part of the #ICanSurvive campaign.

What’s Involved for Youth Champions
As a Mental Health Youth Champion, you will have the opportunity to:
- Create a Short Video: Submit a 30-second video where you share 3-5 impactful tips on a mental health topic of your choice. The goal is to provide practical, easily applicable advice to help others manage their mental health effectively.
- Raise Awareness and Inspire Change: The selected videos will be featured on the AU Youth Envoy’s social media platforms, reaching a wide audience and spreading messages of mental health awareness throughout the continent.
- Attend the Shape Africa Youth Summit: Chosen Youth Champions will also get a chance to participate in the Shape Africa Youth Summit, where they will join other young leaders and changemakers to engage in meaningful discussions and activities focused on youth development, health, and well-being.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must:
- Be Young African Leaders: The program is open to young Africans who are actively involved in mental health advocacy or have a strong interest in promoting mental well-being within their communities.
